Wildcrafting from Within your Landbase at the Saltspring Island Fibre Fair

In this workshop you will learn how to naturally dye a rainbow of colours from plants that were ethically harvested from our landbase.

We will be working with 2"x 2" squares of wool that were scoured, mordanted with alum, and in some instances dyed in preparation for shifting the colour with a modifier.

Each student will go away with 16- 2"x 2" squares of naturally dyed wool, a booklet with the names/information on the dyes used, and the knowledge of ethical harvesting practices.
